The National Institute for Agricultural Research "INRA" mission is to undertake research for agricultural development. INRA operates through ten regional centers of agricultural research and 23 experimental areas distributed over the national territory and covering the various agro country systems.
To accomplish its mission and be in tune with the latest scientific, INRA maintains partnership relations with national and international organizations, development organizations, the private sector and Non-Governmental Organizations.
The Department of Research and Planning for Water (DRPE) research and evaluation of water resources development planning of water resources, mobilization and transfer of water resource management in water, safeguarding the heritage hydraulic (water resources and infrastructure) research and development in the areas of climate and water.
With DRPE, involved seven Hydraulic Basins agencies Oum Er-Rbia, Loukkos, Sebou, Moulouya, Tensift, Souss-Massa-Draa and Bouregreg-Chaouia.
The departement of strategy and statistics of the Ministry of Agriculture and Maritime Fishing (DSS-MAP) is in charge of economic intelligence, the implementation of development strategy of the various sectors, market development domestic and export, and monitoring of bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
The High Commission for Water and Forests and the Fight against Desertification (HCEFLCD) is tasked to develop and implement government policy in the areas of conservation and sustainable development of forest resources, alfa, forestry -pastorales in lands under the forest regime and the hunting development, inland fish and natural parks and reserves.
The main task assigned to ENFI is the formation of the Engineer of Water and Forests. The waiver School, also, continuing education sessions. It remains authorized to perform on behalf of administrations and individuals, all studies and research related to forestry and sustainable management of natural and environmental resources. ENFI also participates in research programs and development projects conducted by national and international organizations
