The implementation of MOSAICC was to install a server at the DMN, a hardware and a software allowing the simulation models of the impact of climate change on agriculture, forest and water resources.
MOSAICC models and tools are all operating from a central server installed at the DMN, to which users can access via WEB-GIS interfaces. All patterns are connected to a single spatial database, which facilitates the exchange of data.
MOSAICC is a system based on the WEB-GIS technology. It is likely to perform simulations on multiple geo referenced data types (climatic, hydrological, agricultural, forestry and economic). MOSAICC use tools and bookstores «open source» to run queries from multiple users on one hand and for several other models on the other hand.
